For starters, everything comes with the preparations. You have to have a sound plan which would make the celebration memorable for both you and your honey. You may choose to have dinner in a fancy restaurant or hotel,

Girls would probably prioritize what they should wear. Depending on your supposed date, you should always look your best. Just a warning, though, because you should never look too overdone. A simple pair of skinny jeans or perhaps a very nice casual dress paired with a pair of women’s brown boots can be enough to look and feel beautiful. Your makeup should stick to the natural but fresh look.

Males should also be presentable for their women. A button-down shirt paired with a pair of black slacks or pants might be enough. Make sure that you also shave and keep your face smooth – unless your girl wants it rough, of course. Just prepare your best accessory – your smile. And of course, that perfume which she loves to smell on you. Be careful not to spray too much, though.

To make your anniversary extra special, you can also consider making out something together. Print pictures, collect memorabilia and place them all in a scrapbook. On the day of your anniversary, you can all take them out, together with some scrapbooking tools and do it together. There is nothing better than something personal, and something you have done together. It would be a nice thing to look at after a few more anniversaries, as well as to show to other friends.

If you want to have a surprise date, then make sure that it would really be a surprise. However, it may backfire if your other half also prepared something for you, so it would be nice to stick to the flexible plans. You can choose to prepare something for him or her which can be easily modified, such as a small gift.

If you love singing or you know your partner would love music, why don’t you pick up guitar lessons and a takamine acoustic guitar? He or she would truly appreciate it knowing that you learned a song to sing for your big day. It would be in his or memory for a long time, and would be hard to erase. If you are a bit hesitant, go ahead and have someone to play – but be sure that you would try to sing.

When you are prepared enough, then look forward for that date. When the time comes, just let everything flow and enjoy everything you have worked for. After all, this is both your night so it is just fine for the two of you to enjoy each other’s company.
