To save a lot of guys out there their time and money who have heard of this Double Your Dating book, here’s a quick review of the contents that I have found interesting!
David DeAngelo’s book covers a lot of topics, but the ones I found most interesting were:
- being yourself
- differences between the sexes
- dispelling myths and misconceptions
Should you just being yourself?
David DeAngelo tells guys that you don’t need to be yourself, but you need to be the best version of yourself. I know of a lot of men out there who try to be themselves and fail at getting women, that’s why it’s so vitally critical that they learn how to become attractive to girls first. In order to be successful, you need to stop being yourself for the time being so you learn how to become successful with women, then mould this into your own personality eventually!
What are the distinctions in relation to the gender roles between the sexes?
In Double Your Dating, the author explains that there is a different between the two genders and talks about why men in society today are confused. In today’s society, guys have been brainwashed by television and movies. It astounds me, but I just can’t figure out why some guys just think they need to be nice guys to get women. That is the start of where the problems begin. Females are attracted to males who act like acts. Since a fair amount of men are confused they start to act like women. That’s a big part of the reason as to why some guys don’t get women, because they don’t act like a man, but instead act like women!
Misconceptions dispelled
Society has given the impression to men that in order to get women they need to be either, tall, handsome, rich or powerful. Clearly is not the case at all. The reason for this is because having these qualities in your personality shows women that men with these elements have a high social standing. To have a high social status, you don’t need to look like you have all the material items that money could buy. DeAngelo gives you great advice on how to make these qualities part of your personality so that you also can get women without being rich or famous!
My conclusion
